For one of our global partners based in Rotterdam, we’re looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 professional to take the lead in managing, optimizing and securing a hybrid Microsoft 365 environment. This is a high impact role where you’ll collaborate closely with IT colleagues around the world to help deliver smart and effective solutions.
Your responsibilities:

Manage, optimize, and support Microsoft 365 services—including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and Teams Phone—on both a technical and functional level.

Implement security and compliance solutions within Microsoft 365 to ensure data protection and alignment with industry standards.

Troubleshoot and maintain the hybrid environment, including Active Directory, Entra ID, and on-premises Exchange.

Oversee the email appliance, ensuring secure, filtered, and reliable email traffic.

Serve as the primary point of contact for our IT service provider and coordinate technical support and escalations as needed.

Plan and execute Tenant-to-Tenant email migrations, ensuring seamless transitions for systems and users alike.

Automate day-to-day administrative tasks using PowerShell.
Who we are looking for:

You bring proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer or in a similar role (3+ years).

You’ve worked extensively with Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Teams Phone, Intune—including MAM and packaging) from both a technical and functional perspective.

You have a solid understanding of hybrid environments like Active Directory, Entra ID, and on-premises Exchange.

You’ve successfully handled Tenant-to-Tenant and email migrations.

You’re experienced in managing and maintaining an email appliance.

You’re confident with PowerShell scripting to automate tasks in Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.

You’re familiar with Microsoft 365 security and compliance tools (MFA, Conditional Access).

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are comfortable working independently.

Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Security Administrator, or similar are a strong plus.

You’re fluent in Dutch and English and can collaborate easily with colleagues across various teams and regions.
