The Role: Security and Compliance Lead

You’ll be the driving force behind strengthening the organization’s security framework. From designing policies aligned with NIS2 standards to proactively safeguarding systems, networks, and data… you’ll play a key role in protecting a global leader.

Your key contributions will include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Conducting regular vulnerability and risk assessments to identify and address potential threats.
• Leading security awareness training to foster a strong security-first culture.
• Designing and executing effective incident response plans.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and standards including NIS2, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
• Preparing detailed reports on the company’s security posture and improvements.
• Collaborating with teams across the organization to embed security into every process.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) — highly valued.
• 3+ years of experience managing and implementing security policies, ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong background in vulnerability management.
• Fluency in Dutch (mandatory) and English.
• Analytical, decisive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience ensuring compliance within complex, global organizations.
• Proven track record of leading security projects in multi-company environments.
